In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, a National Forum titled “5-Year Review: From Economic Independence to Social Engagement” was held at the initiative of the State Committee on Family and Women.
Participants included Deputy Prime Minister and Chairperson of the Committee for Family and Women Zulayho Mahkamova, representatives of relevant ministries and departments, deputies of local councils, civil society institutions, and youth representatives.
As part of the event, an artisans’ exhibition was also organized. The exhibition showcased unique products crafted by local artisans.
The forum became an essential step toward expanding opportunities for women artisans and engaging them more actively in social life.
